WITH MISS CHRISTY (a.k.a. SASSY ART MAMA) The Art room is a fun place filled with busy hands, glitter, and giggles. J Each year we have a different Art theme. This year the students are learning about the CULTURES OF THE AMERICAS. Areas of exploration within this theme include the legendry, wildlife, artistic styles, and culture of the peoples of these continents. The students are really excited about this year’s theme and are ready to start making messes. J
In Art class, the students have the opportunity to work with various media to create projects (which center on the art elements and principles of design) from the areas of sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and weaving. Enjoy the fabulous artwork influenced by this year's theme.
