ART

WITH MS. CHRISTY-WOUNDY (a.k.a. SASSY ART MAMA)

The Art room is a fun place filled with busy hands, glitter, and giggles. J Each year we have a different Art theme.  This year’s Art theme is A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM!  Within in this theme, students will be exploring various works of Art and artifacts from museums around the world and the artists and cultures associated with them.  The students are really excited about this year’s theme and can’t wait to travel and go see the actual works in person. J

In Art class, the students have the opportunity to work with various media to create projects (which center on the art elements and principles of design) from the areas of sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and weaving.  Enjoy the fabulous artwork influenced by this year's theme.

My schedule:   mornings--Jr./Sr. High Art classes

                        afternoons--Elementary Art classes 

*I only see each elementary class once a week for 40 minutes (depending upon the school calendar schedule).
