George Seitz Elementary School

Our school is located on the island of Kwajalein.  Kwajalein is part of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.  Kwajalein is about 2500 miles SW of Hawaii.  It is the largest atoll in the world.

Our school serves approximately 210 students.  Students live on Kwajalein as well as the neighboring island of Ebeye.  The students who live on Ebeye ride a ferry to and from Kwajalein (approximately 30 minute boat ride) every day. We have a diverse group of students, many of them having lived in several different countries before coming to Kwajalein.

Our school week and work week begin on Tuesday and end on Saturday.  We are closed on Sunday and Monday for the weekend.  We are located on the west side of the international dateline, so we are one day ahead of the United States.
