Grade
It certainly has been a busy and fun
year thus far in Rooms 22 and 23. We are all about
stretching our minds and practicing good study habits
through the enjoyment of learning and working
together.
In the fall, we spent time learning
about our ethnicities, traditions, and cultural
celebrations that culminated with our yearly
International Thanksgiving Tasting Party. When we are
not saving the earth by making reusable shopping bags
and passing on the green word, we are tackling
multiplication facts, writing paragraphs, cursive
handwriting in a single bound.
To keep our brains busy, we discuss
presidential elections, animal classification, and
regional characteristics of our community (local and
global). In our spare time, we like to go on field
trips. Although we do enjoy long walks on the beach,
we recently visited the Dental Clinic to learn about
oral hygiene. We look forward to planning a community
tour to observe all that our island and Ebeye have to
offer.
