KRS employs a Roman Catholic priest and a Protestant chaplain. We have active Catholic and Protestant congregations. Both groups meet at the Island Memorial Chapel.

Daily Catholic mass is held in the Catholic priest’s office. Weekend ser-vices include a Saturday 5:30 p.m. mass and a 9:15 a.m. Sunday mass. CCD is offered at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday in the Religious Education Building.

Protestant services are held on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the chapel. Sunday School is held at 9:15 a.m. in the Religious Education Building. Both congregations sponsor a wide variety of activities for all ages throughout the week.

Christian Women's Fellowship meets on the first Sunday of the month at noon for lunch in the Religious Education Building. A Men’s Prayer Breakfast is held on the first Sunday of the month. All faiths are invited.

In addition to these groups, a Baptist Fellowship meets at the Community Activity Center on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints also meets at the Community Activities Center on Sundays.

FACT:

Kwajalein Memorial Chapel was dedicated in February 1945 and is the second oldest American building on the island. It was constructed by a joint effort of Army Engineers, Marine Corpsmen and Navy Seabees. A 50th anniversary service was held in February 1995 and at that time the stained glass window was dedicated and added to the chapel.
