Cycle 8 Art/ Foods (formerly Exploratory Art 8)

Cycle 8 Art/Foods combines the world of the gourmet cook, the artist, and the seamstress.  Students will learn about nutrition, cooking, and sewing simultaneously with various art styles, media, techniques, and elements/principles of design.  Students should be able to make better connections with art in relation to their everyday lives and from an appreciation for life skills such as preparing meals for oneself and being able to mend and create garments, pillows, etc.
