Brief Course Description:
Pre-Calculus is
designed to firmly ground the student in traditional high school
mathematics topics, analytic geometry, functions, trigonometry
and logarithms and exponentials and to prepare the student for a
variety of entry-level college mathematics courses by
introducing concepts in linear algebra, statistics, probability,
discrete mathematics and calculus applications. Problem solving,
modeling, and technology are emphasized throughout the course.
