Brief Description of Course:
Biology investigates the structure
and function of living organisms and their interactions with the
environment and other living organisms. The course surveys the cellular
basis for life, biochemical processes, the principles of heredity,
classification systems, environmentally sound practices and bioethics.
Lab work is emphasized in the course and students may be asked to
participate in the dissection of animal specimens.
