Brief Description of Course:
Physics is the study of the relationship between matter
and energy. This course is designed to meet the needs of college-bound
students and those who have a strong interest in the subject. Areas of
exploration include mechanics, heat, waves, light, electricity, and a
brief overview of modern physics. A solid math background is strongly
recommended. The course will emphasize good problem solving skills and
the use of computers in the laboratory.
