KHS Marshall Island Club

The Marshall Islands Club has been one of the school's favorite clubs. The purpose of this club is to host schools students from a neighboring island called Ebeye. These students come to Kwaj High to experience what school is like for students here. After the hosting, they play games and go to the bowling alley. The main purpose of this club is to interact and get to know our Marshallese neighbors.

Another activity that the club sponsors is Christmas on Carlos. The Kwaj students prepare for their visit to another neighboring island, Carlos. They collect money from classes 7th-12th. The class who gets the highest amount of money gets to have a pizza lunch party. With the money, MIC buys food like rice, corn beef, Vienna sausage, and other favorites for the people on Carlos. Each family on Carlos receives a box full of these things.

During the Christmas visit, the Kwaj students also set up games for the kids like breaking of the piñata, bean-bag toss, limbo, and other activities like tattoo stickers. Santa also goes along to the trip on Carlos.
