Winter Ball
Winter Ball is Kwaj High's version of Homecoming in the States, but
is more informal and laid back. Winter Ball is held in January by
the Sophomore class, and where it is held varies from year to year,
depending on where the Sophomore class decides to hold it.
This
year, Winter Ball was held in the Yukwe Yuk Club in the Dining Room
side with a theme of Tropical Winter. The food at Winter Ball was organized by Ms. Alves who as
usual provided excellent food that was one of the highlight of the
dance, and the music was provided by on island DJ Justin D.,
which other than a few stops in the music was exceptional. Winter
Ball was over all organized by Sophomore Cassia Griswold who made
sure that everyone did their job and worked hard herself getting the
Yuk Club reserved and managing the set up of decorations at both set
up times.
