Information for New Staff

Welcome!

It is our pleasure to have you on board as one of our team.  We look forward to meeting you and having the chance to get to know you better.  We are excited to show you around Kwajalein and help you get to know your new home better.  Kwajalein is an adventurous place to live and our school district is a great place to work.

There are probably many questions on your mind as you anticipate moving to Kwajalein, and your adjustment to your new work environment.  The information below aims to help answer some of the questions as well as make your transition to the island lifestyle smoother and more enjoyable.  Some of the information pertains to living on Kwajalein and some of it is more specific to your job working for the school.

Below, you will also find the official orientation materials from KRS’s Human Resources department as well as some materials that we have put together that are more specific to your new job.  In addition you will find the “underground” orientation materials that contain specific tips from those who have been on the “rock” for a while and know how things really work.  We want to make sure to answer all of your questions so feel free to contact us for more information if you need it.
